June 24, 2012Farm Trip
The Farm Trip is one of the highlights of the season, and we are only doing one farm trip this year, so here’s your chance!  Learn more about the farm.  See how your veggies are grown.  Meet the chickens that lay your eggs.  Bring food/drinks to share at the afternoon potluck.  Kids are also welcome!

July 31st, 2012  - CSA Potluck Dinner – Tuesday @ 6:30 p.m.
Get to know fellow members of the Turtle Bay CSA over dinner on the YMCA sun deck, which is just off the 5th floor staircase. Bring a dish to pass (show off what you make with your veggie share!) or pick up some beverages on your way to the event and enjoy the evening. Feel free to pick up your share items on your way up (items requiring refrigeration can remain in distribution room). Please RSVP with what you will bring to Andrea at alacey17@yahoo.com. Rain date is Tuesday, August 7th.

CSA Book Club
Calling all bibliophiles and bookworms – let’s get together to start the inaugural CSA book club! Selections will likely focus on food, diet, and other health-related issues. Please email Andrea at alacey17@yahoo.com if interested – book suggestions are welcome :)

But many hands make light work!  Help the farm by weeding, snapping garlic scapes and other unskilled farm labor.  Members are welcome to come up the afternoon/evening before and camp out. Kids are welcome!  See our Facebook Invite.
